150 Student Developers Have A Chance To Win A Free WWDC 2012 Pass

Are you a young aged developer, 13 years or older? Well then you can still attend WWDC 2012 if you meet Apples qualifications. Over the next week Apple is accepting applications from full/part time students who are in any of the Apple developer programs. After the applications are received Apple will choose 150 students who are well deserving of a free WWDC pass.

According to the memo, Apple will choose the finalists based on “technical ability, creativity of ideas expressed in products or projects, prior WWDC attendance, as well as technical and work experience”. If you want to enter than I would suggest you fill out the application this week because May 2nd is the last day to submit apps.

Yeah, sounds unfair for the adult devs, especially because many weren’t awake to purchase tickets themselves. But young students are a key part of the future, and will dominate application development during the upcoming years.

So stroll on over to the WWDC Scholarship website to learn more about this opportunity.
