Analyst Brian White addressed the media yesterday stating some details from his recent trip to Taiwan. He revealed that supply chain sources led him to believe September would be the iPad Mini release along with the New iPhone, making for an “exciting” month. Today he updates us as he is continuing on hearing about the September release.
White also said today, the iPad Mini would help Apple expand business to the lower income along with schools; And even people that just are interested in having a smaller sized tablet. This in my opinion is true, it would help Apple out. Lower income schools and people may want a tablet, but do not have $399 to purchase the least expensive iPad (The iPad 2). The iPad Mini is expected to be priced under $275, so this could mean attaining a whole new market of buyers for Apple.
Overall we will just have to wait and see about this purported iPad Mini. The rumor has appeared year after year and we are still yet to see the rise of such a device. But if the iPad Mini does very much make it into production than a 7.85 inch display with a 1024 x 768 screen resolution is the supposed specs on the device.
Would you buy an iPad Mini;Or do you prefer larger screens as like the regular iPad?
