Apple analyst Gene Munster is back with more updates regarding Apples upcoming rumored iTV. The analyst was one of the very first to predict that Apple would release an HD TV, and he is still going hard with the idea.
This time around Munster predicts the Apple HD TV line will come price tagged around $1500 to $2000 per television set. Models will come in 42 to 55 inches. And if you ask me, its a bit pricey compared to your typical 42 to 55 inch televisions which cost $700 to $1400. A release is expected in early 2013 with a debut in December.
Next up Munster estimates that the iPhone would be released in October. ”We believe Apple’s product road map for the remainder for the year will include meaningful updates to core product lines including the iPhone and Mac,” says Munster.
The analyst also noted that there is an 80 percent chance that Apple will hit their target of 49 million New iPhones sold in Q4 of 2012. He also says Apple should sell 176 million iPads before 2015 if the tablet trend continues.m
