iOS 5.1 will be available today and is rolling out today! Also Siri will be coming to Japan in the coming weeks.
The new Apple TV was announced! Its supports 1080p with a “streamlined new user interface”. It looks absolutely stunning, checkout the photo below! Also there is a 1080p video output with full HD movies ready to be streamed from iCloud.
You can pre-order it now or buy it next week! Tim Cook suggests that you pre-order it. The cost will be $99, just like the past Apple TV’s.
The new iPad is being shown off! It will feature a Retina display with 264 pixels per inch. The resolution will be 2048 x 1536, making it the best resolution for a tablet.
The tablet will feature a A5X processor with quad core graphics.
The camera will feature auto-exposure and auto-focus. The back facing camera will be 5 megapixels. 1080p video recording too.
Voice dictation will be added to the device.
The iPad 3 will have 4G LTE capabilities! New iPad now has 21Mbps HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA at 42Mbps, with LTE, running at 73 Mbps! Verizon, At&t, Rogers, Bell, and Telus will be supported carriers. Also you can use your iPad as a personal Hotspot if the carrier supports it.
The battery life is 10 hours and 9 hours on 4G.
The device is 9.4 MM weighing 1.4 pounds.
The cost will be $499 for 16 GB Wi-fi. If you want 4G it’s $629, $729 and $829. Same prices as the iPad 2
On March 16th the device will be released in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan. They are taking pre-orders starting today!
