Earlier this morning Apple has updated their Investor Relations Page to alert shareholders that on April 24th a conference call would be held to discuss the second quarter financials. The call will begin at promptly 5 PM EST and will discuss the Cupertino-based companies sale figures from the past three months.

If your a shareholder or apart of the press you will be able to listen to the earns call live on Apples website. But overall, anyone can tune-in to the call if you have a computer that can run quicktime, or an iOS device with atleast iOS 4.2 installed.

The last conference call on January 24th released statistics of  Apples first fiscal quarter of 2012, and that’s when Apples stock began increasing towards $500 per share. They announced revenues of $46.33 billion with share earnings of $13.87 per share. The net profit amounted to $13.06 billion. The sales of iPhones and iPads dominated Apples sales by a long margin.

With the upcoming call we are unassured of what to expect from Apple. The sales announced on Janurary 24th consisted of holiday sales, and beyond holiday’s is when sales usually cool off. With the New iPads release we could expect an escalation in earnings, still this would be a tough feat coming off of a record quarter. If we know anything as of yet, this quarters earnings will be a good estimate of what to expect during the next couple quarters.

This should be an exciting event-day, and we will have live coverage during the event. Make sure you check our homepage on April 24th for the live-blogging post.

Do you think the iPhone or iPad will dominate sale charts from the past quarter?
