The BooqBag Folio Case was introduced during this past fall with compatibility with the iPad 2, and the launch was quite successful. Much successful that Booq has released another version compatible with the iPad 3, although the original Folio case would of worked just as fine. We’ve seen many companies make very minor changes to their iPad 2 cases and introduce a ‘new version’ of the case compatible with the iPad 3, but we promise Booqs changes are significant.

Features:

The case allows you to easily slide your iPad inside, and is very snug to the fabric with little movement room. A three column cover can be flipped over the screen to be used as a cover. The three-column cover will even wake/sleep your device if you have the feature enabled in your device settings. Along with those features, the case can be used as a stand for your iPad.

The sides of the iPad are mostly protected, other than openings for the charging port, headphone jack, power button, volume switches, and camera. Our only complaint is that the case doesn’t wrap the iPads curvy design. There is slight wiggle room within the case, but not enough for the iPad to fall out. But after awhile the case should break into the iPads shape, creating more curvy corners.

Should You Purchase:

This is your typical Folio case, its no-different than the others. But based on the material, it sure is high quality and would protect your device from falls if the cover was closed. But I am not much of a fan of the Fabric material, it feels nice, but doesn’t look to appealing. It comes in Black, gray, purple, and sand. If you had to pick a color, I would choose black because the fabric looks more appealing. The cost of the Booq Folio is $49.95 on BooqBags website.
