Foxconn Recruiter: New iPhone Release Is Coming In June

A recent report from Macotakara has provided some information this morning that TV Tokyo’s “World Business Satellite” has reported some insights on the upcoming iPhone. The show conducted an interview with a Foxconn recruiter, who supposedly had information on the release date of the phone.

The Foxconn recruiter told World Business Satellite that Foxconn is looking to hire nearly 20,000 more workers for the factory, which lines up with the report from late last month. He also mentioned that the hiring spree is in preparation of  Apples next iPhone. As if we weren’t excited already, he than mentioned a June release for the iPhone.

The report also mentions Foxconn employs nearly 80,000 workers at the single Taiyun plant. The factory has been responsible for the production of the iPhone since its release back during 2007.

But the question is, should be believe the report from a recruiter? Its currently unclear how an employee with a low-level working status would have a hold of such confidential information. Apple is a company of secrecy, not providing much information about upcoming products, and when they do its with trusted partners.

This release date report is one of very few we’ve seen this far. The next iPhone rumors sure are starting to crank up, but Apple has left us confused on whether we would see a summer or fall release. The first four iPhones were summer releases, and the iPhone 4s was a fall release.
