The iPad Mini was just announced by Apple and now we have some photos of actual hands-on looks of the tablet. You can find all information on the specs by clicking here, but this post will mainly be photos of the device.
Apple released the iPad Mini with a display resolution of 1024 x 768 — equal to the iPad 2. With 162 pixels-per-inch the display isn’t even near matching the full-blown iPad 3/4.
The iPad Mini was produced on-par with its brother, the iPad. The back of the device consists of a silver aluminium, just like all iPads produced to date. Oh, and if you’re wondering, yes it does contain the new Lightning port.
Just how thin is the iPad Mini? It’s thinner than the regular iPad and actually is a lot lighter. Here are a few more photos:
It’s the perfect size for an adult’s hand. It takes one-hand to hold the tablet and another to touch the screen — but you can actually get a sufficient grip of the device with one hand.
Lastly, let’s close things out with a hands-on video of the iPad Mini.It isn’t very long, but shows just how thin and wide the tablet really is.
