How to jailbreak iOS 6 beta using Redsn0w

The Dev-team has released Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 earlier today to jailbreak iOS 6 on the iPhone 3GS,4 or the iPod touch. All other devices, including A5+ are lacking support as the jailbreak process is a bit more complicated. This jailbreak is really for developers only. Its not your typical jailbreak either because Cydia isn’t installed. Unless your a developer with the urge to test jailbreak related compatibility I wouldn’t suggest upgrading.

This is also a fully tethered jailbreak, just another reason to gear you away from the jailbreak. If you are still interested than continue on below to learn how.

Instructions:

Step 1: Download Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 onto your Windows or Mac computer. And open the program

Step 2:  Click Extras > Select IPSW and select the iOS 6 IPSW you downloaded when you installed it onto your device.

Step 3: Go back to the main page and select “Jailbreak”. Now follow the instructions to place your device into DFU mode. When prompted to install SHSH make sure the box is selected. Go ahead and click next and await the completion.

Step 4: Now you will need to perform a tethered boot. On Redsn0w select Extras > Just Boot. Follow the instructions and your device will turn on successively when completed.

Now your all done! A little note though, when your device turns off you will need to perform Step 4 to turn your device back on fully.
