iHome iD83BZC App-Enhanced Dual-Alarm Clock Radio For iPad/iPhone/iPod Review

The iHome iD83BZC Alarm Clock radio for the iPhone,iPad, and iPod is another great product by iHome. Having multiple devices, including an iPad 3,iPod touch, and iPhone 3GS, I have looked for a quality alarm docking system for awhile. This one finally matched my needs. The iHome iD83 charges your devices, and provides a home docking station.

One of my favorite functions of this alarm clock is its ‘sleep timer’ function. Nothings better than falling asleep to your favorite song, either on a playlist on your device or the FM radio. The iD83 also includes a alarm clock, as you would’ve guessed. Your wakeup tune choices include the FM Radio,custom playlists,custom apps, and a buzzer.

(The custom workable apps include the iHome Sleep app, paid iHome Radio Internet app, and App-enabled dual alarm)

The Reson8 speaker chamber provides quality sound. The bass I wouldn’t consider “booming” loud, but matches a typical car stereo easily. If there were such a thing called HD audio, the iD83 would fall under that category.

A nifty sync button on the alarm clock can be pushed to sync the time from your iOS device onto your alarm clock.
