iSound Portable Power Max Review

Anyone who is on the fly or on the road a majority of their days sure could use an iSound Portable Power Max. We’ve all had times where our phones or MP3 players ran out of charge while on the go, and there is really no great way to charge your device without a car adapter, and even that kills off your cars battery fast.

So what I did was I decided to purchase a iSound Portable Power Max. Its a cheap solution, costing only $45 to $70 depending on the model you purchase, and I can charge my devices on the go. For travelers this is such a great solution, and I do not regret my purchase.

The device has the ability to charge up to 5 devices via USB at a time. One model has a 16,000 mAh battery, while the other has a 8,000 mAh battery. The 16,000 mAh can actually charge an iPad twice or an iPhone 4 eleven times. The 8,000 one can charge one iPad or 5.5 iPhone 4′s. This really isn’t a bad deal considering how long the battery last. And, the best thing of all, it can charge any phone or device that connects via USB.

If your Portable Power Max was to run out of battery than luckily the charge time takes 7 to 9 hours to re-juice. Four LED lights will indicate when exactly the Max is completely charged.

Other uses of the Portable Power Max is the fact you change charge five devices at once! For example, you can plug your Power Max into the wall and hook up your iPad,iPhone,camera,Android phone, etc overnight while you sleep, and they will all charge. So its not only great for on the go use, but for the fact it has so many USB ports.

As stated above the device does cost $45 for the 8,000 mAh model, and $70 for the 16,000 mAh model. Its a great deal for the travelers. I picked myself up on earlier this month and used it while on my vacation to charge my iPad,iPhone, and camera. I charged each of my devices once and still had left over juice, so the 16,000 mAh model isn’t all to shabby of a purchase. The performance is even great and isn’t heavy at all.
