Logitech Shows Off Solar Powered iPad Keyboard Folio Case

Logitech is home to the worlds most quality tech accessories on the planet. To prove it, Logitech has presented their Solar Keyboard Folio case for your iPad.  Thats right, its a keyboard and a case. But the most impressive feature of all is its ability to charge via solar light. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a solar keyboard by Logitech though. They also sell a wide range of solar powered keyboards for desktop computers.

Hows it work? The case has solar cell that converts light to power. The light source can either be an indoor light, or the actual sun, it doesn’t make a difference. All types of light sources will contribute to charging your bluetooth keyboard.

The folio itself is described as ‘portable’. So it is as someone would describe a small case. This folio does have a front and back cover to maximize protection. The keyboard actually folds into the front cover. Buts thats not all the front cover does, it also works with the iPads sleep/wake function.

You can also fold the case into a stand, one in which covers the keyboard for a lower to the table view, and another in which sits upwards for business (not covering the keyboard).
