I’ve downloaded countless Windows 7/8 Dreamboard themes for my iPhone and iPod Touch and Metroon in all honesty tops them all. This does require you jailbreak your device and download Dreamboard to install the theme. The great news is that Metroon will only put you down $1.50 on the ModMyi repo! And I would’ve paid upwards to $6.00 because the theme is just that good.
The single favorite feature about Metroon is the compatibility with stock iOS. The ability to tap “Desktop” and be brought back to my iOS springboard is seamless. With many other themes I sometimes spend ten to twenty minutes trying to figure out how to exit the theme.
All the tile-blocks are neatly placed and colored. Past Windows 8 themes that wasn’t the case. Metroon does not stretch out the small iOS icons causing them to become overly pix-elated. Instead the tile-blocks may feature a small icon on the tile.
My favorite section of the theme is being able to choose what applications are on my tile-blocked start-screen. If I only want my top-used applications on my start-screen, than I can do so. The rest of the applications will appear in the apps-folder.
The only imperfect bit of the theme comes with moving tile-blocks. Its time consuming to manually move the block using the up and down setting options.
