Mountain Center is yet another jailbreak tweak that brings the Mountain Lion style notification center to iOS. We introduced “Mountain Lion Center” a few weeks ago, but Mountain Center has many more features to bring to the table. So lets get on with the features.
First off, “Number Of Fingers” allows you to choose how many fingers it takes to swipe the notification over. Then, the Position option allows you to choose what side the notification center can be swiped open from, the left or right.
Another option called “Full Screen Banners” when enabled will cause banner notifications to use up 100% of the top screen real estate rather than the center.
That’s about it for the settings, so check out the video for a hands on view:
Unlike the other tweak, Mountain Center will be available for both the iPod touch,iPhone, and iPad. This is the first tweak of its kind bringing the Notification center to the left or right on the iPhone/iPod touch. Its going to be quite odd though because this tweak is designed more for an iPad than the iPhone.
Mountain Center is not yet out for download. No estimated time, or price is set either. We will just have to wait. The only information released is that it will be on the BigBoss repository.
Is Mountain Center something you would like on your device?
