News iPads Already Arriving At Retail Stores

So far this week we’ve seen two lucky websites that have received their copies of the New iPad. One was a Vietnamese website and one was based in Hong Kong. Here in the United States though, it seems as if early shipments are unlikely. Apple has requested that shipments be held at the shipment facility until Thursday/Friday.

But the retail stores across the country seem to be receiving their New iPad shipments today. Other than Apple, we have 5 to 6 other retail stores expected to be carrying this New iPad. In fact, we have a picture of the New iPad taken from a Best Buy store. The picture is provided by Engadget, from an anonymous identity.

According to Engadget, the image was taken in the stock-room of a Best Buy. Present in the picture is 4 boxes which look to hold 4 iPads per box. We weren’t made aware if there was more boxes, but at least we know to expect at least 16 iPads per retail store.

So if these few boxes indicate anything, you should plan to be at your selected retailer late Thursday evening. In fact, some people in London have been waiting in line since last Saturday! The earlier you arrive, the better.
