The next generation iPhone can without a doubt be labeled the most anticipated release of 2012. So once again we have some more shots of what the actual 2012 model of the iPhone may compare to. I am not intrigued that these shots are real, but Gizmodo has at least aroused the thought that they are.
Setting aside the heavily watermarked photo, the shot features an iPhone inside of the advertised case. The very first thing I noticed about the phone is the lack of iOS 6 (old maps icon). If this iPhone was smuggled or left in a bar, it should come stock with iOS 6. But the 19-pin dock connector, re-located headphone jack, and 4.00″ screen all correctly correspond to past rumors/leaks.
Since I am basing this post off of an Alibaba market product, its safe to assume the case designer also produced the 4.00″ iPhone body to showcase the “iPhone 5″ case. If they really had a-hold of the next-gen iPhone I would of expected at the very least some emphasis on that fact.
Although I have already labeled this a fake, these are very interesting to review. This could very much be a preview of the next-gen iPhone form factor. But we always do like opinions from our audience. So would you be okay with this form factor? Its almost the same as the iPhone 4s, only taller.
