NutKase iExecutive iPad 2/3 Case [Full Review]

With the New iPad we have many choices between cases, and the iExecutive by NutKase happens to be one of the newer unique releases. At first it may seem like your typical folio case, it has great protection and the cover folds up to form many different types of stands, but the strap on the back is what makes the difference. We will get into that later though. Oh and did we mention the case is created using leather, front and back?

The picture above shows the iExecutive without an iPad inside. You will first notice the 4 column cover, created using a soft microfiber.  Behind the microfiber includes magnets to sleep/wake your device, and the microfiber itself even cleans fingerprints from your screen. On the right is where your iPad will be snapped into place. Its created using a strong plastic, and will provide sufficient protection from a fall.

Above is the iPad pictured inside the iExecutive. When placing your iPad inside the case make sure to snap the 4 corners onto the iPad. Once inside, your iPad is secured well. I have a hard time imagining my iPad just falling out.

Like we stated before, the iExecutive can also be used as a stand. Below is one of the various stand methods. This is one of my favorite because I can sit my device on a tabletop and have it at a slight angle. Its much better than being flat on the table, or at a 180 degree angle.

Now the pictures below are of two other stands. The one on the right stands your device at a 180 degree angle. It isn’t all that comfortable, but if you enjoy this stand method, than its your choice. Than we have the last stand method, pictured on the left, that gives you a higher angled device view than the one above.

Now that we have the various stand methods out of the way, the last feature to talk about is the ‘X-Strap’ on the back of the case. This is what makes the iExecutive a unique case. I love the X-strap for the fact that I can carry my device around without worry of losing my grip. I even enjoy using the X-strap when using my iPad because I feel as if I won’t drop my device.

You can find the X-Strap pictured below:

Final Thoughts:

I love that the iExecutive is created using a premium leather, looks great, and even provides protection. I’ve always loved folio cases, and the addition of the X-Strap makes this case unique, and I love it! I really can’t find any negative features regarding the case. But a minor problem I was experiencing at first is that the magnets were a-bit weak on the front cover, causing the iPad to sleep/wake multiple times when the cover was moved the slightest bit. The weak magnet also caused my iPad cover to simply fall off the screen when not facing upward. But since then this problem has seemed to have vanished.

Overall, all iPad cases have their tiny flaws, and this flaw is one that you can look to pass up. I’ve loved this case so far, and isn’t one I plan to be trading off anytime soon.

You can purchase the iExeuctive on Nutkases website for $55 or €49.99 today. If you want a 40 percent discount than click here to find out how.
