Report: Foxconn Employee Provides More Details On iPhone Release

The upcoming iPhone talks are heated as of recently, but when will the release date be? We’ve seen a summer release for the iPhone every release despite the iPhone 4s. One clue from a Foxconn worker a few weeks ago hinted a June release on a TV interview, but now another Foxconn employee says otherwise.

South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper has reported another story. The article features some lines by Foxconn’s Taiyuan’s human resources department. They actually told the paper, ”We just got the order. It [the release] will be around October.” If the statement is true, its amazing they are willing to share the information because Apple is the type to keep their products a secret until the keynote announcement. We might also add that we aren’t all to sure the human resources department would have access to this type of informati0n as of yet.

When the original report was released via the Japanese news station they reported a hiring spree Foxconn was going through. This hiring spree is true, and the Maeil Business Newspaper has verified that via the Human Resources department “Yes, it’s true we are hiring a large number of workers.”

The newspaper also attempted to speak with Foxconns head of publicity, however they were told the department was on a vacation leave.

As time begins to progress we sure will hear shares of rumors like this. At this time we are yet far out from an October release, so much more is to come. We just reported earlier that an iPhone prototype was being produced, and now we have information relating to the release date. As the summer comes we should have a great idea on the iPhone features and release date.
