Sara (Siri Clone) Updating with Additional Bug Fixes and Plugins

Do you remember Sara, the Siri clone we were introduced to early last month? Well back when we reviewed the voice assistant the bugs and ability of the assistant seemed to be abundant. The assistant seemed to be almost pointless at the time. Basic commands such as checking the time and date included errors, and would fail to report even the correct date. When it came to actually setting reminders,clocks,etc, Sara couldn’t even complete that task. But Sara could complete tasks such as translating languages and reporting the age of various celebrities.

Sara is a jailbreak application that is free for download. To use Sara you can set an activation method or simply tap on the application icon on your devices springboard. Any iOS with a jailbreak can use Sara, so you can even download the application to your device. But first you may want to keep reading to hear about some recent bug fixes…

Now,compared to the build that was released over a month ago, many bugs have been fixed. The application is still buggy, but there is actually a few addons downloadable from Cydia to enhance the functionality. I am not going to rank Sara near Siri just yet, mainly because of all the bugs and functions missing. Over the summer months we could expect major expansions to the application, and hopefully will exceed the functionality of Siri.

Additionally, there is a few plugins that are out for download, including ‘RepeatMe’ which will allow you to ask Sara to repeat your last phrase. You can even create your own plugins if you wish, just download the “Sara SKD kit build” from the official repository, in which you can find below.
