Apple may have a huge September in store for everyone. One that may feature a sixth generation iPhone and first generation iPad Mini. This information comes exclusively from Apples Taiwanese supply chain.
Analyst Brian White from Topeka Capital Markets met with locals within the Apple supply chain in Taipei. During his visit with the supply chain, sources told him that Apple is ready to have an “exciting” September. This September will first include Apples next generation iPhone and then the iPad mini. Last year Apple launched their iPhone during October, so this is a month earlier than last year.
Whites source specifically mentioned that the Taiwanese supply chain told him that the iPhone would have a unibody aluminium casing, just like the leaks last week. And a liquidmetal body is pretty much out of the question according to the specific Taiwanese source.
If you’ve followed the rumors over the month, the sixth generation iPhone will likely feature a 4-inch display with a brand new smaller dock connector. The speakers may also be enhanced due to the gained real estates at the bottom of the device.
The iPad Mini is rumored to feature a 7.85 inch screen with a 1,024 by 768 screen resolution. This will allow applications to run smoothly without distorted graphics.
