SportsYapper: A Social Network for sports

If your a huge fan of sports, you’re going to enjoy SportsYapper. Its a social network on iOS and Android for any sports fan to talk among-st each other. Its fairly similar to twitter, despite its Sports-only talk. Users can talk about plays, penalties, argue plays, and just about anything game related. If there was a trade you may also want to speak out about your thoughts.

SportsYapper is highly comparable to Twitter. Users can ‘Yapp’ there current feelings about whatever sports-related with the 300 character limit provided.

Inside of SportsYapper is an ‘All Yapps’ section. Thats where all the users of SportsYappers Yapps appear. You also have a tab for friends, where you can view all your friends Yapps. If you are interested in a specific teams Yapps, you can filter SportsYapper to show you just about any teams Yappers.

Since this application is new, being it came out a few weeks ago, it will lack users. If the Cleveland Indians only have a few Yappers, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t Yapp about them. They need to grow, and you could be apart of a huge upcoming social network. Guys such as Mark Teixeira have already shown support for the new application.
