The tablet market is growing huge these days, and Spotify seems to be the last major music streaming company to create an iPad application. During this past year we’ve seen many companies comparable to Spotify release an iPad app. The fact they haven’t expanded to the iPad yet is laughable because the amount of users willing to purchase should easily cover production costs of the application within days. But today we have been introduced to the first lead providing proof of a Spotify iPad application.
The Verge was able to grab a photo via Instagram posted by a Swedish tech consultant. You can view the photo above, and its likely a beta version of the application. We aren’t all to sure about the release date, but lets just estimate within this next week based on sources.
One announcement that has caused a stir is the special announcement planned for April 18th in New York City. Spotify’s CEO will take the stage and will be announcing something, may it be the iPad application, new pricing, or whatever, we aren’t sure. But with the timing between the leaked image and announcement, we have our bets on an iPad application announcement.
So lets hope for the iPad announcement, and we sure will be covering the brief announcement. Stay tuned for more…
