TruXe HD Winterboard theme review

TruXe HD is an extraordinary elegant theme that has just hit Cydia for $2.79 on the Maccity repository. The developer has worked on this theme since Feburary, finally releasing it in June.

The lockscreen first off comes with its very own theme. Where the clock/date is, and even the slider, all is themed with a nice crisp design. The status bar is even theme a nice black color with custom icons showing the wi-fi,3G, etc.

TruXe even comes stocked up with three different icon sets to choose from! Each set will have the similar mask, but will be in the shape of either a square,star, or circle. All stock iOS applications have been re-designed, the third party applications will be masked to look unique.  For those who want a different style background, TruXe comes with many theme matching backgrounds for you to work with. Within many stock iOS applications, you will also notice a full fledged darker theme. The music application for example looks beautiful. If you have a song without artwork a TruXe background will be placed perfectly in the artwork “CD”. The whole settings application even has a theme of its own with many custom masked icons and the bar found above the app.

The changes are endless, and the creator has even provided us with a list of many of the finished features. Some include Twitter skins, Zepplin logo, full calculator UI, custom load screens, changed camera UI, SBSettings UI, Mobilephone, Colorkeyboard, and many more.

This theme is by themer ulysseleviet who created widgets for a theme called Sink HD back in Feburary. You can purchase TruXe HD today on the Macciti repo for $2.79.
